FRONTLINE PLUS is the #1 veterinarian-recommended flea and tick protection.
FRONTLINE PLUS (Fipronil and S-methoprene) is a monthly topical flea and tick preventative for dogs and cats and is approved for use on puppies and kittens 8 weeks of age and older and on breeding, pregnant or lactating cats and dogs.
FRONTLINE PLUS killed 100% of fleas within 12 hours and 100% of all ticks and chewing lice within 48 hours of application. FRONTLINE PLUS is long lasting, waterproof -effective even after swimming, bathing and grooming- and continues to kill fleas and ticks all month long. FRONTLINE PLUS also breaks the flea life cycle to prevent future infestations.
FRONTLINE PLUS is effective against all stages of the brown dog tick, the American dog tick, the lone star tick and the deer tick (the major carrier of Lyme disease). FRONTLINE PLUS eliminates lice infestations and also aids in the control of sarcoptic mange infections.
Place the applicator tip through the animal's hair to the skin level between the shoulder blades. Apply the entire contents of the applicator in a single spot to the animal's skin. Use only one applicator per treatment.
Frontline Plus is called Frontline Combo in the U.K. but contains the exact same active ingredients (Fipronil & (S)-Methoprene)

Comments about Merial Frontline Plus:
As a survivor of the "flea wars" when nothing helped, this came as a great product. I use Frontline Plus on both my dog and my cat and never have had a flea on either. And, they go from New York to Florida with me so they are always in flea season.

Comments about Merial Frontline Plus:
frontline plus is really good stuff! we've used it for years now on our small dog Clara. this was cheaper than buying it from the vet. just be careful to use the amount that you need when doing this or ask your vet. we have never had any flea problems at all. I grew up in a flea infested house and know how miserable it can be. believe me it is well worth the money!

Comments about Merial Frontline Plus:
Having two cats that live outdoors on a farm in the country, fleas can be quite a challenge. I've used Frontline Plus on them about every 6 weeks and have never had a problem with flea infestation. My cats are not itchy and scratchy, and do not suffer tapeworm as often as they would if they had flea problems. Easy to use - you simply squeeze the little vial and make sure the cats hair is parted so the liquid gets right on the skin; so many videos on youtube that show you how to do it. Be ready to wrangle a little bit, cats smell the mediciney stuff and aren't keen on getting it applied. It really works well, but it does leave a wet, greasy looking spot on the coat for a little while. I strongly suggest you "snap" the vial open BEFORE approaching you cat with it. Mine know that sound and will bolt upon hearing it!

I have had dogs all my life and this product has had no side effects. Tried others because it was something new, supposedly better, and cheaper but I will stick to Frontline.
